Matthew 8:14-17
Jesus Heals Peter’s Mother-In-Law and Many Others
Jesus cleanses, heals, and restores Spirit which cures the physical afflictions.
Action as Medicine. As you do better, you become better.
Every individual carries within them a hidden potential, a power untapped, akin to a demigod. However, a significant number of us remain oblivious to this innate strength and capability. In fact, many become mere reflections of their environments, unknowingly succumbing to societal constraints and limitations. This ignorance often spurs defense of mediocrity, of conforming to the norm, of remaining an undifferentiated part of the masses. But herein lies a profound truth: you are what you know.
From our birth, our minds serve as porous sponges, absorbing a sea of information from our surrounding environment. It becomes an eager apprentice, seeking to imitate, model, and replicate. Regrettably, it often fails to discern the quality of the lessons learned, particularly the adverse ones, such as learned helplessness and patterns of irrationality. The consequence is a distorted self-perception, leading us to doubt our potential, desire unwarranted assistance, and resort to blame when unfulfilled.
Unawareness of our capabilities limits our actions, and unperformed actions leave our potential undiscovered. As a result, we exist in a vicious cycle of ignorance and incapability. The key to shattering this cycle is knowledge – for indeed, knowledge is power.
Bruce Lee once expressed, "The medicine for my suffering I had within me from the very beginning, but I did not take it." What he meant is that the remedy to our spiritual afflictions and limitations resides within us. The true challenge lies in recognizing, observing, and harnessing this potential.
Spiritual afflictions often manifest as physical circumstances in our lives, signifying a deeper mental flaw in our nature. Misguided thoughts, lack of awareness, and understanding are common culprits of destructive thinking, leading to ineffective living, humanity’s foremost inadequacy. Yet, our environments often fail to provide the correct models of thought. We are frequently exposed to petty quarrels, trivial gossip, misuse of resources, apathy, and chaos.
Poverty of ambition, not material wealth, cultivates indolence and breeds crime. Inactivity and failure, the twin demons of mental afflictions, infest large sections of our society. They lurk in every corner, from the impoverished neighborhoods to the slums, breeding irrationality, lack of ambition, and an unhealthy obsession with mundane distractions.
We tend to revert to distractions and simple gratifications when faced with initial failures or lack of instant success. This regression restricts us to the mastery of mediocrity, trapping us in a web of basic instincts, materialism, and self-destructive habits.
Yet, there's a beacon of hope in this situation, embodied in the teachings of Jesus. These teachings, representative of 'The Way of God,' provide enlightenment on the right approach to life, leading to joy, peace, security, and prosperity. Contrary to popular belief, Jesus’s teachings were not about passive salvation but active self-improvement and realizing our God-inspired potential. It's about success, victory, and the conscious choice of winning.
Transforming winning from an active pursuit into a fundamental part of our nature requires dedicated effort. It entails seeking knowledge, setting goals, developing ambition, drive, and a solid work ethic. In essence, it involves transcending our learned helplessness, initiating action, and effecting change in our lives.
Our environment should not limit us to mediocrity and stagnation. Let wisdom challenge your programming, heal, and restore your original state. Associating with teachings such as Christ Mastery will imbue you with the will to succeed. By breaking free from inefficient, reckless ways, we can realize our true potential and overcome any hurdle life throws at us.
The remedy for suffering lies within action. Bruce Lee again imparts wisdom saying, "Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do." Let us act upon the world, implement our knowledge, and actualize the Demigod within us.
Remember, you’re part of something greater now. You’ve stepped into the winner's circle, and we are with you at every step. You have the power to reshape your destiny, the power to become a Demigod.
The Demigod Code beckons. Will you answer the call?
